Allergy
Testing
A TURN-KEY ALLERGY PROGRAM FOR NON-ALLERGISTS
We provide the Training, Resources and Education for your office to perform general allergy testing for your patients. ‘Scratch Testing’, or applicator testing, is a needle-free technology that has been around for decades, and one of the most common allergy testing methods for general physicians around the country. This is an incredibly safe and effective way to uncover general allergies for the majority of patients.
PATIENTS GO TO THEIR
PRIMARY DOCTOR FIRST
-
An allergist is a perfect specialist for patients with high-risk allergies, or serious food allergies like shellfish, peanuts or berries. For the majority of patients who suffer, knowingly or unknowingly, from general food and environmental allergies, a simple 15-minute test is a valuable service any physician can provide. Patients are always going to rely on their primary physician first.
WHAT PATIENTS QUALIFY?
-
Regularly Sneeze, or have a runny, congested nose
-
Frequently experience ear/sinus infections
-
Often experience itchy or watery eyes, or skin problems
-
Have ongoing colds, coughs or chest infections
-
Stomach upset/distress
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
-
Allergy Testing using multi-point applicators, and a national panel of 80 of the most common allergies, is easy for any staff member to perform. The process takes 2 minutes to apply 10, 8-point applicators and the results develop in 15 minutes. The majority of patients will only notice a little itchiness at the locations they developed a reaction at. If quality of life is affected, treatment options are available that can dramatically affect a patients' allergic response and provide long lasting relief.
