Loretascan
Testing
THE NEW STANDARD FOR OBJECTIVE COGNITIVE ASSESSMENT.
NeuroCognitive testing with Loretascan involves the combination of cutting-edge hardware and sophisticated software. While it utilizes a 21-channel EEG, it is far beyond ordinary EEG testing. Essentially, the system provides a ‘lab test’ for the brain that can be performed in almost any doctor's office, to assess for potential cognitive disorders. Evaluating each patient's brain using a specific, clinically developed protocol, each test is processed into an easily understandable report that includes significant brain biomarkers.
HOW DOES LORETACAN TESTING WORK?
Loretascan is a comprehensive NeuroCognitive system that works well in a variety of patient care settings and aids physicians in early and accurate diagnosis. A medical assistant or member of the office staff can easily be trained to perform the test. It takes about 10 minutes to prepare the patient and 25 minutes to perform 3 specific test phases. The test consists of an initial questionnaire, baseline measurements, and a simple functional assessment of patient response.
